TIBERI STATEMENT: PRESIDENT'S FISCAL YEAR 2013 BUDGET
U.S. Congressman Pat Tiberi (R-OH) today issued the following statement following the release of the president’s fiscal year 2013 budget:
“The president’s fourth budget is filled with more of the same flawed policies he has proposed time and time again. His plan to tax, spend and bail out our way to prosperity is unacceptable. After his last budget failed by a vote of 97-0 to even be considered by the Democrat-controlled Senate, President Obama needs to admit that the time is now to change course and listen to what families and small business owners have been saying. We need to cut spending, decrease the debt, and create a stable environment for small businesses to grow and hire. More than a $1.5 trillion tax increase and more debt and deficit, does nothing to promote stability or ease the burden on hard working families. I look forward to working with my colleagues to pass a responsible budget that will prevent a tax increase, and bring more security and certainty allowing businesses to expand and hire.”
